Name of the project: R.I.S.ToVET Rural Innovative sustainable tourism
Project identification number: 2019 -1-PL01-KA202-065682
Program: Erasmus+

Project duration: 01.11.2019 – 31.07.2022
Project description:
The main activities of the project are directed at the existing gap between the modern tourism market and tourism training programs in VET. Formal education often fails to meet the challenges posed by its ever-changing range of customer needs. It also fails to incorporate innovative practices into the curriculum most often. In this sense, the program which will be created during the project will be complementary to the existing forms of teaching in this area and will be able to strengthen the competences necessary in the contemporary market of tourist services.
Innovative forms of modern tourism focus largely on digital forms, a sustainable way of welcoming guests, and on promoting local identities. Digital education therefore becomes the foundation. Therefore, the training paths developed in the project will take the form of an e-learning platform. Its creation will be preceded by a detailed analysis of many already functioning small but innovative tourism businesses.
Objectives of the project:
- identification of a gap in the education of future specialists in the field of tourism in relation to the expectations and needs of the market for new tourist services based on digital solutions, searching for local colors and sustainable solutions in the environmental aspect
- providing a new, innovative model of vocational training in the field of tourism focused on the above-mentioned needs
- creating training materials available online in the form of an e-learning platform and webinars
