The PROSPECT project - Link learning and social commitment for future citizens growth aims to develop and test an educational model developing civic skills among students and focused on service learning as a key moment of transition from knowledge to skills and competences. Service learning combines theoretical research that takes place at school with commitment to the local community. This process will ensure the training of citizens able to act in critical situations and face the new challenges of global society. The developed educational model will be directed to kindergartens, primary and secondary schools.

 

Objectives of the project:

 

• The main result of the project will be the development of an educational model focused on developing civic skills among students.
• Collection and analysis of interesting practices related to strengthening civic skills as part of program activities to monitor their impact on students' competences.
• Designing, testing and assessing the impact of an educational model that includes civic skills and service learning in formal education programs;
• Mutual learning of teachers and trainers focused on sharing experiences and acquiring skills to implement and test the educational model in school settings.
