Sexual problems that affect youth with mental retardation are getting more often a topic openly raised by their families and thus become visible in social life. Lack of sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge among workers supporting affected families may lead to the selection of inappropriate solutions. The aim of the project is to create a training program not only for teachers or social and youth workers, but also parents and mentally handicapped students in the field of sexual education.
