DESCRIPTION:
The GENDER 101 project - Developing innovative tools on gender diversity for parents and adult educators - supports the priority of inclusion and diversity in all areas of education and training by working for parents and teachers, as well as adult trainers, whom we want to prepare to work with gender-diverse people. Working towards greater awareness in the area of gender identity and the complex nature of the topic will allow for increased knowledge and a more holistic approach between parents and children, as well as improved skills of educators/trainers in field of gender studies.
GENDER 101 will help overcome the barriers faced by parents of gender-diverse people in accessing the opportunities offered by the project programme. By implementing this project, partners will aim to create inclusive environments that foster equality and respond to the needs of the wider community. Such tools include: the use of, among other things, digital resources that will be developed as part of the project, but which can continue to be used after the project has ended.
The aim of the project is to provide knowledge and real tools to deal with the potential problems we may encounter when supporting children experiencing discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation.
