GENERAL INFORMATION

The major objective of education on the faculty of Criminology is to possess and make use of comprehensive knowledge of criminology and its related sciences in the field of fighting crime and other social pathologies and in the field of social and economic life. We attempt to acquire extensive knowledge about methods and research tools which enable us to describe different kinds of crime and the basics of social-economic system, its constitutional condtitions, European and international, the impact of the system on the crime and other pathological phenomenon in the society.

The aim of the second degree of studies on the faculty of criminology in the practical profile is to prepare the future employees to take up a job in public and private institutions ensuring safety and public order of the state. During the course of studies, the classess are planned to be practical and the workshops are conducted by judges, prosecutors, probation officers, mediators, police and prison officers.
