General information

The basic aim of students’ education of the faculty of Psychology is the organization of knowledge and skills in the range of recognition, analyzing and naming psychological phenomena and planning, introducing and evaluating the effects of different forms of psychological aid in the field of solving psychological problems of social and individual character.

 

The studies of Psychology enhance the personal development of the students and prepare them, first of all, for the practical side of the occupation of a psychologist. The obligatory classes cover the basic branches of psychology, whereas the voluntary classes develop students’ individual interests.

 

The students who graduate from M.A studies will possess broad knowledge of general psychology, deepened by a chosen field of psychology, e.g. social, economic, business, educational, clinical psychology of the child, family, an adult person. The graduates of this faculty will receive the degree of Master’s of Psychology.
