SPORT SENSE Training in Romania
The aim of the training was to pass on to other youth workers, coaches, volunteers the knowledge gained during the study visit to Budapest about sports, and in particular sports that can be adapted to the needs of visually impaired people. After the training, participants will be able to develop inclusive sports activities/events in their local community, with or without previous experience of working with visually impaired people.
The training was also designed to provide skills and knowledge to coaches, trainers, youth workers and volunteers involved in physical activity/sport in their communities on how to effectively promote education in and through sport, with a particular focus on and involvement of visually impaired people in activities.
