The first meeting as part of the # ACTIVE.U project was held in Guimarães, Portugal. The project focuses on sport and social inclusion.
The project concerns the problem of social exclusion of young people finishing the stage of compulsory education and facing the choice of a further life path. Those who do not undertake any other form of education, training or work are referred as NEETs (not in employment, education or training) and constitute a social group in the European Union, to which a number of supporting activities are addressed.
The aim of the # Active.U project is to enable young people to acquire new skills and to learn but also getting to know one's own future possibilities through sport and non-formal education.
The partnership includes institutions from Portugal, Italy, Norway and Poland.
