Work outcome 1 - GuideBOOK

This guidebook is for those who wish to introduce sport for visually impaired people in their community. The guidebook is designed to inform and inspire people. The book is intended to offer practitioners a method by which they can learn from our experience and adapt it to their reality. It contains information about the project, methods of working with blind people, sports activities can be adapted to the needs of visually impaired people, how to adapt these activities, materials needed, safety rules and principles.

In summary, this book is a complete guide for readers and guides them step by step on how to plan, organise and carry out a sports event for visually impaired people.

Through this guide, we want to facilitate the process of designing sports activities and provide a resource for all those who take the initiative to organise a local sports event for visually impaired people, without necessarily having previous experience. We direct this guide to practitioners (e.g. youth workers) and organisations around the world.
