FINE AT SCHOOL - partnership meeting in Bulgaria
Another partner meeting took place from 9th to10th of April 2019 in Sofia, as part of the FAS project. It was the third meeting of this initiative and the host institution was the Bulgarian partner - ITIPIO.
During the two-day meeting, partners from Poland, Spain, Italy and Bulgaria discussed the results of the research, on the basis of which the European Pedagogical Model for Inclusive Education was developed. During the meeting, the Italian partner presented an educational platform on which all materials developed during the project will be posted. Another important point of the meeting was to discuss issues related to the organisation of meetings with teachers and workshops for parents, which will soon be implemented by all partners in their countries.
The idea of the meetings for teachers is to involve teachers and school coaches in an educational path, to share experiences, opinions and thoughts regarding the European pedagogical model by using the practices and tools developed by the FAS partnership. During the meetings, teachers will be asked to adapt the practices and tools to their school environment, to create new teaching paths, so that this method could be implemented in school curricula to improve students' emotional and social competences and create a learning environment based on inclusive teaching.
Workshops for parents aim to enrich parents' parenting competences in accordance with the principle of interaction between teachers-parents-pupils. The workshops will consist of three thematic blocks:
WORKSHOP No. 1 - The role of emotional intelligence in the development of the child's personality.
WORKSHOP NR 2 - Emotional intelligence for school.
WORKSHOP 3 - Developing positive social skills.
The next and the last partner meeting will take place in Italy in 2020.
